Hi! My name is Katie. I am a wife to the king of dad jokes and I go by ‘Mum’ to two amazing kiddos. Some of my earliest memories are of my brothers and I gathered for story time or of the story books I used to make. I’ve always loved reading and writing, which has led me here.
I hold a B.A. Honours in Philosophy and a minor in Linguistics. This training has provided me with the skills to think critically and reason well. Paired with my experience and other training, this allows me to critically assess and help my clients.
Editing
I have over 10 years of experience editing work in variety of genres and capacities. The bulk of my early experience editing was in an academic setting. I have helped many students hone their skills and polish their written work. I also have had the privilege to edit academic works which are now in publication.
I have enjoyed working with individual authors helping to prefect the stories they have to share. Whether it be a retelling of a true story or a fictional journey, I am here to offer guidance and support to polish your work into the best it can be. To learn more about editing services click here.

My greatest joy is fiction. Who doesn’t love an epic journey filled with mythical beasts, adventure and love? I’d take Tolkien over T.V. any day!
